Attempted Motorcycle theft

Location: Broad Oaks Road.
Date and time: Between 7:03pm and 7:18pm on Monday 30th June

Details:  The offenders have approached the rider while on Broad Oaks Road, the rider was told to get off his bike, he has come off and the bike was stolen. It was later recovered as it was found dumped near to the offence location.

 

A steering wheel lock is a great deterrent against this kind of crime. Car alarms, immobilisers and trackers are also worth investing in. Good quality CCTV equipment covering your driveway is also a deterrent and can give officers valuable footage to assist with apprehending thieves.
