Dear Resident,

We spent some time patrolling the area near Burrowmoor School in March in response to your concerns about illegal parking, particularly around the primary schools at drop off and pick up time.

Three tickets were issued on this occasion for parking on a single yellow line during the hours of operation.

You may think that parking is a trivial and low-level issue, but illegal parking can put pedestrians and other road users at risk, especially the school children.

We will continue these patrols when we can. We can’t be everywhere, but we could be anywhere.
