Lunchtime Drop-In Session held at New Mills Secondary School - Monday 30th June

Glossop SNT - School Engagement/Lunchtime Drop-in Session

Today,  Monday 30th June, PCSO Buller from the Glossop Youth Engagement Team, accompanied by Mrs. Wilson from DFRS, visited New Mills Secondary School, located on Church Lane, New Mills. The visit took place during lunchtime - held between 12.20 pm and 1.00 pm.

The purpose of this visit was to conduct a school engagement session focused on County Lines and to promote the ASB Awareness Week .

Our DFRS colleague was there to make students aware of the dangers of derelict buildings and water safety etc. Our visit also allowed the YET team an opportuniy to complete some Derbyshire Talking Youth surveys.

We’are working with partners across Derbyshire to create a one-stop shop for all you need to know about anti-social behaviour (ASB).

You can learn about all the different forms of ASB, and where to report them to ensure you get the support you need.

Thank you to the headteacher and staff for accommodating todays visit and especially to those students who engaged with us today
