Heaton Park 

PCSO’S   Gary and Carla from the North Neighbourhood Team covering Higher Blackley AND Charlestown have been on patrol in Heaton Park .

The hot weather has seen large numbers of people flock to open spaces for recreation either alone, with friends or with family members.

Our aim is to ensure that the park remains a safe and enjoyable place for all users.

We would like to take this opportunity to remind residents that during this hot weather it is vitally important to take appropriate steps to protect their health.

Drink water - stay hydrated - avoid alcohol as this dehydrates.

Use sun cream - ensure that your/your children's heads are covered.

Do not be fooled by the clouds. The sun is strong, and heatwaves warnings have been issued for the next few days.
