Recent Burglaries in your area

Good afternoon,

This is a message to inform you that there has been some burglaries and attempted burglaries in your area. The offenders appear to be committing these burglaries with the intention of stealing tools and e-bikes.

This message is to make you aware of the recent activity and to ensure that yourself and others are best educated on how to keep safe. 

Most burglaries occur in the early hours of the morning (between 12am and 4am), and so it is essential that you keep all doors, windows and gates locked/ secure. Having good outdoor lighting can be a deterrent, as well as having CCTV cameras.  

Please double check that all shed/ garage doors are locked.

Actions such as keeping valuable items in a secure unit and hid from public view, as well as marking valuable items (e.g tools) with SmartWater technology and registering push bikes on our BikeRegister system can be good prevention tactics. 

If you have an e-bike, please make sure a tracker is fitted.
