ARREST: This afternoon, officers were called to Longford Road, Cannock, following reports of a vehicle that had collided with a parked car.

Upon arrival, officers conducted a roadside breath test on the driver, which returned a positive result for alcohol. The individual was subsequently arrested.

Fortunately, no one was injured.

Drink or drug driving is never worth the risk. It impairs your judgment, slows your reaction time, and puts lives in danger โ€” not just your own, but those of innocent people around you. Crashes caused by drink driving can lead to serious injuries, fatalities, and lifelong consequences.

Weโ€™re committed to keeping our roads safe. If you suspect someone is driving under the influence, please report it immediately.
