Pinner and Pinner South SNT officers helped return this scooter to its rightful owner after it was stolen in London then purchased in Essex by an unwitting Pinner resident using Facebook Marketplace.

Although the resident didn't suffer any financial loss, to prevent avoidable inconvenience and stress, it's important to apply due diligence when making an expensive online purchase - especially of a vehicle - via second-hand marketplaces.
