Today myself and #PCSOLiz had the great honour of being invited to Odiham as guests to the Freedom of the Parish Parade in Odiham. This was to mark the bestowment by the @odihamparishcouncil the “Freedom of the Parish” upon the @rafodiham . This was in recognition of 100 years of aviation. The town crier opened the proceedings followed by members of the Royal Air Force based at Odiham, Royal Air Force Cadets and Veterans. Music was played by the Band of the Royal Air Force and we even had a Chinook Flypast. The link between RAF Odiham and the village is a strong one which was notable by the large crowds of residents both young and old watching on. On hearing from many of the senior ranking officers with the Royal Air Force, they also recognise the importance of these links within the community. I must also mention the catering team who provided a glorious spread which was delicious. It was certainly a day I will not forget. #PCTerry
