Welcome to Met Engage! I am Luke Baldock, the Neighbourhood Policing Superintendent for Bromley. Met Engage offers a great opportunity to hear your views, hear what you want us to focus on and to provide us with information to fight crime on Bromley.

In short, that is my main aim, that we use this platform to gather information to fight crime, arrest offenders and solve problems that matter to communities.

We have seen some great examples of this lately, and I heard just this week of an operation targeting moped theft in Biggin Hill and Darwin. The teams there responded to intelligence around an organised group stealing and storing mopeds in the area, with intelligence suggesting they planned to use them to commit other offences in the area. The team reacted quickly and recovered 7 mopeds in the area (see below) which means not only that we can return them to the owners, but also prevent them being used in other crimes.

This is just one example of how we will act to prevent crime based on local intelligence which Met Engage makes it easier for us to receive. We can also update you to keep you informed and show what we are doing based on what matters to you.
