Neighbourhood Policing week

Dear resident

As you may have seen on social media, this week 23-29 June 2025 is neighbourhood policing week.

This week is an opportunity to highlight the important work your local teams do and the engagements they carry out within communities to keep people safe.

As well as patrolling their neighbourhoods on foot, bicycle or by vehicle, they will also be continuing to work to tackle local crime and anti-social behaviour related issues, working with partners such as local councils, housing providers and of course local people themselves.

In order to deliver on the local issues that really matter, SNTs regularly engage with the community and consult residents on what concerns should be prioritised.

There are various activities planned throughout the week including increased visibility, attendance at coffee mornings and events, school visits, operations and surgeries, so if you see any of your local SNT officers and PCSO’s out please stop them, have a chat and let them know what is happening within your area.
