Good afternoon!

The City Centre Neighbourhood Team can confirm that 8 individuals aged between 11 – 17 have been arrested. The group have been identified as being responsible for over 15 offences ranging from series of thefts, assaults, criminal damage and violent disorder in the City Centre.

The group have caused issues for local members of the public and our business partners and have now all been bailed with strict conditions preventing them from entering the City Centre and associating together.

We will will now work with partners in youth justice to educate and divert them away from criminality to reduce further issues in our City.
