Today marks the first day of the Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) week of action, and our officers were out in full force engaging with members of the community. 

As part of our ongoing commitment to proactive policing and community partnership, officers visited key areas across the neighbourhood to speak with residents and local businesses. The focus was on raising awareness around crime prevention, listening to local concerns and offering practical safety advice tailored to each area. 

Today has started with PCSO’s Enbom and Long who were at the Market Place in Richmond. While PS Campbell and PCSO Coburn where at Tennents in Leyburn.

Then onto the afternoon there was PC Recchia, PCSO’s Coburn, Diamond and Enbom who attended Tesco Catterick Garrison for a wonderful afternoon engaging with shoppers. 

This week is all about collaboration, visibility, and making a real difference at the heart of the community – and we’re just getting started.
