Local Priorities Parking issues Message

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Parking issues, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

Concerns have been raised around how vehicles are being parked on Prospect Road, Rawtenstall.
This has recently been being monitored and for the most part motorists are being considerate both to other road users and pedestrians.
However, it has been noticed that some people have not been as considerate, therefore leaving inadequate space for people to walk, or people with prams or in wheelchairs to pass.
This has got to stop as it puts people in unnecessary danger.
Anyine found to be causing an obstruction will be dealt with accordingly, by fixed penalty and/or their vehicle being removed.
Please park considerately.

Kind regatds, Chris.
