We are joining police forces up and down the country to celebrate neighbourhood policing week of action. We will both celebrate the achievements of neighbourhood policing and provide opportunities and support for officers and staff throughout the week.

Starting on Monday 23 June, we will highlight the vital work that neighbourhood officers, police community support officers (PCSOs) and volunteers do to protect the public and keep people safe.

During the week we will also be launching our new neighbourhood policing training programme, designed to support and strengthen neighbourhood policing teams in every force. We have been trialling this programme with over 1,000 officers in 11 different forces.
