THEFT: Earlier night, local officers were patrolling hotspots for anti-social behaviour and crime and whilst doing so nipped into a local store for a drink to cool down.

Whilst in the store they noticed a female taking items from a shelf and concealing items into a bag - the officers approached the female and identified her as a prolific shoplifter.

Theft prevented and female dealt with - local Policing at it's finest.
