SEIZED: This afternoon local PCSO's seized these two illegal electric motorcycles that were being ridden around Festival Court in Chadsmoor.

Whilst on appearance they look like push-bikes they are actually electric motorcycles capable of reaching up to 31mph with the use of just a throttle. In essence, the pedals are there for show only. Bikes like these are not registered with the DVLA, lack number plates, and are not taxed or insured—making them illegal on public roads.

The riders, who in this instance are both under 18, have no driving license and weren't wearing any helmets.

The bikes have now been seized. 🚲⚡
