AREA UPDATE

Good evening Resident,

Today we have attended Brookfield Community fete and engaged with children and parents. They got to experience what it is like being the driver of a police car and how loud the siren is. We signed up over 25 people to my community voice. We had to leave after 2 hours due to call demand.

On Friday we completed some speed watch on Bull Lane, Eccles and stopped 2 drivers for excess speed who were issued tickets. 1 vehicle failed to stop which was later tracked to an address in Maidstone. We also completed foot patrol around St Martin Square in the afternoon and then the evening and signed a number of people up to my community voice given us greater coverage. Also the same day we stopped 2 people on New Hythe Lane who were in possession of class B drug Cannabis. We stopped and engaged with a groups of youths in Ditton car park and ensured they used the gym equipment correctly.

We have attended a number of 999 calls over the last week including 2 domestic abuse incidents and a number of ASB Cads. Enjoy the hot weather.

Thanks
