The rider of this bike was seen leaving spoons in the town centre oblivious to my flourescent Police car that he pulled out in front off. 

Suspecting they may have been drinking I attempted to stop the rider who decided to make off at speed. 

After a short pursuit where he mounted the pavement and reached speeds in excess of 70mph he was detained with minimal injuries to himself, officers and my car. 

He was later charged with drink driving, dangerous driving and failing to stop for Police.
