Patrols, Police Activity and local engagement
As the nice weather is here, we tend to get increased complaints regarding neighbour disputes, dog related issues, vehicle related issues and drugs. We are addressing these types of complaints and working with residents to try and resolve disputes. Like with most types of complaints, evidence such as CCTV/doorbell footage is very useful when trying to get a positive outcome.
Please pop down to the Burbage Carnival on Sunday 22nd June (Britannia Road fields) from around 12:00 – 16:00 where we will have our usual crime prevention items, or just pop by and say hello. Please consider vehicle and home security items to reduce/prevent crime such as theft of motor vehicle and residential burglary. These types of events are a great for the community and gives us an opportunity to support with crime reduction.
Crime prevention and issues to be aware of
Please ensure that reports of Graffiti are logged via this link. Following some recent graffiti in Burbage (Rugby Road/Sketchley Road area), it can be a frustration and not a good look for Burbage when the graffiti remains in place. We will always do what we can to identify those involved and encourage witnesses or anyone with any information to get in touch with us. Graffiti - what is it, report it | Report graffiti | Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council
Abandoned vehicles may be a Police issue where tax has expired or you suspect the vehicle is stolen but if the vehicle is of no Police interest, they can be reported via this link.
Thank you and take care.
