Free bike marking event in Peterborough!

Dear Resident,

Our city centre neighbourhood team are holding a bike marking event!

They will be at Norman Arch (between Cathedral Square and the Cathedral) between 3.30pm and 5.30pm on Friday, 27 June.

If you are an e-bike rider seeking advice, this is also a great opportunity for you to come and speak to us about the use and legality of e-bikes.

❓How does bike marking work?

A tamper-proof sticker will be put on the bike, acting as a visual deterrent to thieves. If the bike is stolen and then recovered by us, the chances of it being reunited with you is higher as it will be registered to the national cycle database.

All you have to do is meet us with your bike, it is a completely free event and will only cost you a few minutes of your time.

Advice on how to protect your bike from theft can be found on our website.

Kind regards,
