POLICE UPDATE - Urgent vehicle crime advice

The police have advised Hillingdon NHW this morning that three Lexus cars were stolen last night 17/18 June in the following roads to the north of our Borough:

  • Arden Mhor
  • Daymer Gardens
  • Chamberlain Way
  • Action required please:

All Lexus and Toyota owners right across the Borough are urged by the police and NHW to take immediate crime prevention steps such as fitting a visible steering wheel lock – a simple, affordable tool that can drastically reduce the likelihood of your vehicle being taken.  Owners of other makes/models should review their levels of security with a view to making things more difficult for thieves.

If you live in the vicinity of these roads and have CCTV or video doorbell footage that may be of help, please use the methods outlined below to contact the police today.  Remember that the criminals most likely arrived in another vehicle, and their movements will not have been restricted to those roads.

If you see anyone trying door handles or tampering with a vehicle, please call 999 - crime in progress.

    Reporting Crime

The Metropolitan Police and Hillingdon Neighbourhood Watch ask you to please report ALL crime - 999 in an emergency or if the crime is actually in progress, otherwise 101, online or via the POLICE.UK app (Android, Apple) - describe your location accurately, and consider using what3words to describe your exact location - you can install the App on your mobile and this method is recognised by the emergency services.
