Aylesham - Seized Motorcycle

Good Afternoon,

I spent this morning on foot patrol in Aylesham. It was nice to see and speak to so many residents. On my patrol, I witnessed the below motorcycle being ridden on a public road with a pillion passenger. The vehicle was safely stopped and it was established that the rider did not hold a driving licence or possess any insurance for the vehicle.

I seized the motorcycle, and the rider has been reported for the above offences. Myself and my colleagues on Dover Community Safety Unit will continue to patrol the area on foot and in vehicles as much as possible. Please note - off road motorcycles can NOT be ridden on any public roads. These do not have valid test certificates or insurance and are intended solely for use on private property.

Regards,

PC Jon Bowler
