A male has reported a violent assault while walking over the bridge on Bridge Street York between 00:00-00:50 hours on 06/06/2025 with a friend. The mala has been punched from behind by an unknown male, causing a possible fractured jaw. 

Police are appealing for witnesses or footage of the incident.
