Welcome to the Beat Blog which will bring you some latest news and updates from you local beat team. We hope this gives you an insight into what is happening across Charnwood along with updates regarding the  NL64 Shepshed Loughborough West Beat which covers the areas of Shepshed, Hathern, Dishley, Thorpe Acre and Stonebow Village. 

A quick search of our systems shows that over the period of 2nd - 8th June arrests across Charnwood were made in relation to 35 different reports, keeping our colleagues quite busy. 

In Shepshed a male was located and arrested for a Court Warrant that had been issued as a result of him failing to comply with the requirements of a community order. 

In Thorpe Acre a male was arrested for theft of motor vehicle and 2 x Criminal Damage, relating to a theft of a Scooter. The owner and their Scooter have been reunited. 

In Thope Acre  a further male was arrested for Public Order, and he was later dealt with by way of a Community Resolution. 

Beat officers PC Hodgson and PC Bennett on top of managing their allocated crime queues were also involved in attending a violent domestic assault, and conducted enquiries in relation the search of a missing vulnerable child who was later located and found to be safe and well.
