Patrols and Community Engagement

Officers from the Safer Neighbourhood Team have been out and about throughout the afternoon and into the late evening conducting patrols around the communities of Bakewell and Darley Dale as well as the rural communities plus attending incidents which needed a SNT response.

In between these patrols, in the afternoon officers spent some time at Rowsley Primary School speaking to Key Stage 1 and 2 regarding the topic of road safety. The children from both key stages were very enthusiastic and interacted well throughout the topic.

In the evening officers stopped off at the Village Hall in Ashford in the Water regarding their Well Dressing Event they was holding and watched some of the Well Dressing being created and being installed around the village for this weekends Well Dressing village celebration.
