Year 6 Transition Talks


A big thank you to Bishops Down Primary School, Frittenden C of E Primary School and St James' C of E Primary School for having the Child Centred Policing Team (CCPT) in to their year 6 classes to talk about transitioning to secondary schools. As a CCPT we have strong links with the secondary schools in the district and we spend a our time delivering educational talks and supporting them with students behaviour. So, to speak to Year 6 about, what to expect at secondary school, is a really important piece of work we carry out, building good relationships between young people and the police. 

We discuss, the emotions of changing school, getting to school safely, looking after our personal belongings, making friends, being a good bystander, good and bad choices and much more!
