OUR OPEN DAY IS TODAY
We’ve got lots in store for everyone in the family to enjoy, including the chance to meet some of our brave police dogs and handlers keeping people safe every day. For people who want to get an idea of what it’s like to be at the front of the wheel of a police carrier, there’s an opportunity to sit in a police car and on a police motorbike, along with a number of demonstrations on the type of things our officers tackle on a daily basis, including working at heights and policing public order. Entry and parking for the event is completely free. Our police cadets will also be carrying out drills for people to see on the day, alongside arena performances, activities for children, vehicle displays, and food stalls. Join us at Staffordshire County Showground on Weston Road, Stafford, ST18 0BD from 11am until 4pm Today.
