Crime Report Sutton in Ashfield for the week to midnight Wednesday 11 June 2025


Crimes reported over the past seven days.

Burglary Dwelling

At 12.03am on Saturday 7 June in Welbeck Street, Sutton in Ashfield, a male was observed on CCTV trying the front and back doors to a property and a light was on in the kitchen and the window was open.

Burglary Other

At 10.32am on Sunday 8 June in Outram Street, Sutton in Ashfield a report of someone breaking into the old Wilkinson store. The roller door was up and a quantity of cable and tools were stolen.

At 8.34pm on Tuesday 10 June in Devonshire Square, Sutton in Ashfield a group of people forced a side gate and broke into Devonshire House through a side window. The callers husband was hit by one.

Overnight Sunday 8 to Monday 9 June in Craster Street, Sutton in Ashfield, an unlocked black Volkswagen Golf was entered by one of two males and paperwork and some coins were stolen. In their late teens or early twenties, both were wearing hoodies and had their faces covered.

Theft

Between 10.40am and 11.11am on Sunday 8 June in Davies Avenue, Sutton in Ashfield, a CCTV camera was ripped off a wall.

Between 8.30am on Monday 9 and 7.30am Tuesday 10 June in St. Marys Court, The Oval, Sutton in Ashfield, a cleaning cupboard in the laundry room was broken into and toilet rolls, bin liners, and first aide equipment was stolen.

Robbery

Around 7.00pm on Tuesday 3 June outside The Picture House. Fox Street, Sutton in Ashfield, a male waiting for a Taxi was hit from behind and fell unconscious to the ground. He sustained fractures to his scull and it was later discovered that money had been taken from his pockets.

Criminal Damage

At sometime on Friday 6 June in St. Michaels Street, Sutton in Ashfield, a silver Volkswagen T-Roc’s drivers door window was smashed and the door pillar dented. 

At 5.11pm on Friday 6 June in Co-Operative Street, Stanton Hill, Sutton in Ashfield, the lock on a door was damaged.

Between 6.00pm on Saturday 7 June and 12.45pm on Sunday 8 June in High Pavement, Sutton in Ashfield, a silver Kia Venga, parked at the roadside, had the paintwork ‘keyed’ all down one side.

ASB

At 6.39pm on Friday 6 June in Westbourne Road, Sutton in Ashfield, a report of an ongoing issue with noise late at night and in the early hours of the morning caused by drug users outside in the road.

At 3.47pm on Saturday 7 June at the Toby Carvery, The Watermill, Coxmoor Road, Sutton in Ashfield, a female was pestering people asking for money and a lift in their cars and being a general nuisance to customers. Described as a white female, around 30 years old, slim build, messy bleached blonde hair, wearing a black puffer coat and black trousers.
