Oldham Mini Police Officer’s from Beever Primary School and Holy Family attended Manchester Police Museum today with staff and Oldham Neighbourhood Policing Team Officer’s Peter Barnes/Sikander Khalid and Andy Bigland . This event was organised to reward both School Mini Police Teams for all their efforts, dedication, approach and attitude towards events and activities over the last year. During this visit to the museum they learned all about the history of policing during Victorian times. They carried out courtroom roleplay along with body mapping/ fingerprinting and visited the prison cells. This proved very educational for all Mini Police Officer’s and was a brilliant day that was enjoyed by all young people and staff. Our Mini Police are a credit to Oldham and the schools that they represent.
