Great news - Met launching new communication platform soon

Hello Resident

We’re pleased to share some exciting news about a new way you can stay informed and connected with your local police – Met Engage.

Met Engage is a new online platform being introduced by the Metropolitan Police Service to improve communication with Londoners. It will begin rolling out across London from July, and we wanted to ensure you’re informed about how it works – and what it means for you as part of our Neighbourhood Watch community.

You don’t need to register separately for Met Engage – it uses the same system as Neighbourhood Watch Network (the platform we are messaging you on today). Instead, you’ll simply need to select the police as one of your information providers. This will enable you to begin receiving local policing messages directly from your local teams, right alongside your regular Neighbourhood Watch updates.

The benefits of Met Engage include:

  • Direct updates from your local policing teams on relevant crime and safety information
  • A more streamlined experience – no need to manage multiple accounts or systems
  • Improved opportunities for community engagement and feedback with your police
  • Customisable settings so you can receive information that’s relevant to you and your area
  •

As a valued member or supporter of Neighbourhood Watch, you’re already set up to benefit from this enhanced communication. Just make sure to check your account and confirm the police are selected as one of your information providers before July.

We’re excited about this step forward in community-police collaboration and look forward to seeing the positive impact Met Engage will have across London.

If you have any questions or need support, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.

    Warm regards,

    Cheryl
