IronKids & IronMan Weekend

The worlds largest IronKids took place in Bolton Town Centre yesterday, and the rain didn't dampen the runners spirits! 6000 children took part in runs across various distances throughout the day as part of the run up to todays IronMan 70.3 race.

Officers from local Neighbourhood Teams were on patrol, engaging with the community and ensuring the town centre was an enjoyable place to be. It was a pleasure to meet some of the young athletes taking part today and we look forward to seeing you all again next year!

We will be out and about along the route of the IronMan 70.3 today, please feel free to stop us for a chat. The first finishers are expected to cross the finish line shortly after 10am this morning - pop down and show your support! Don't forget about road closures, the full list of which can be found here: Road closures for IRONMAN 70.3 Bolton announced – Bolton Council
