Here is a round-up of what has been happening in Willenhall South, New Invention, and Short Heath this last week.

1 x male arrested for shop theft.  The male was charged for 6 shop lifting offences. Combatting shop thefts is a priority at Walsall Local Policing Area and we launched Op Marigold in a bid to tackle shop thefts across the Walsall borough. 1 x male arrested for drug offences.

1 x male arrested for criminal damage.

Officers have attended St Giles and Lodge Farm Primary School to conduct workshops covering knife crime, Good Citizenship, Anti-Social Behaviour and Social Media. 

PCSO’S have attended Cosy Corner and the Bereavement group at St Giles Church. 

Officers have attended the Carnival at Willenhall Memorial Park. 

RESIDENTIAL BURGARIES:

In the last week we have had an increase in residential burglaries in Willenhall.  Please see link below on how to keep your properties safe from burglars:

Tuesday 1st July 2025 at The Hive Hub, The Square, New Invention between 10:00am – 11:00am.  Walsall Housing Group (WHG) and Walsall Council will also be attending the surgery. 

Saturday 21st June 2025 Willenhall Library between 10am - 11am.
