MEN CHARGED WITH DRUGS & DRIVING OFFENCES

#ARREST

On Wednesday 4th June we arrested two males for possession with intent to supply class A drugs.

Officers spotted the males in Abelia, Amington and attempted to stop one of them who was driving a white Audi. The male failed to stop and was seen to discard a foil package out of the car window. After a short pursuit, the vehicle was stopped and the foil package located and believed to contain class A drugs - heroin. The male, 39, from Amington, was subsequently arrested.

A second male was seen running from Police but was apprehended after a brief pursuit. He was stopped and found in possession of keys to the other male's address. A search of the address found further class A drugs and mobile phones. The second male, 21, from West Bromwich, was also arrested for possession with intent to supply class A drugs.

Both males attended North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Thursday 5th June where they were charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs - heroin and crack cocaine.

The 39 year old male was also charged with driving without a licence and without insurance.

Both males were remanded in to custody.
