Targeting of Wanted People

Hyndburn Neighbourhood Task Force, amongst other community priorities, have been targeting the local area hunting for outstanding wanted persons.

Through intelligence led policing we have recently been able to make several arrests including a male who was wanted on a court warrant for over 100 days, a high risk suspect wanted for domestic related offences, and a prolific burglar who was wanted on recall to prison.

We also assisted in the arrests of three suspects wanted in connection with two aggravated burglaries that occurred the day prior, two of which have been charged and remanded.

When incidents are reported to us with suspects outstanding, we work diligently to make arrests, ensuring victims and communities are safeguarded, and justice is served to offenders.
