We will be using WMnow to tell you about actions we have taken regarding our newly agreed neighbourhood priorities following our recent PACT meeting.

 

If you wish to attend the next PACT meeting to provide your opinion on where your local Police priorities should lie, the next meeting will be held at 18:00 on Monday 1st September 2025 at Darlaston Town Hall, Victoria Road.

 

Drug dealing

Local neighbourhood Officers have been conducting patrols in known hotspot areas engaging with the community, officers conducted 4 x stop searches under S23 misuse of drugs act and dealt with one male for drug offences following a proactive stop on a vehicle in Bentley. 

 

Speeding and parking around our schools  

During the start of our set the schools have been on half term, we will pick this up again when we are back on duty around the area. 

 

Off road bikes/electric bikes 

Working with the council we have obtained excellent evidence regarding this on going issue in the Bentley and we are going to soon launch an investigation regarding numerous driving offences with identified individuals as well as issuing a number of S59 notices to the same individuals. 

 

 

Other actions

1 x vehicle seized and driver reported for driving on a provisional licence on their own without supervision and without L plates/driving without insurance

1 x male arrested for threatening with an offensive weapon in a public place 

1 x male dealt with for drug offences

4 x stop searches completed under S23 misuse of drug act

1 x male interviewed on behalf of another team and charged and remanded for dangerous driving

1 x male interviewed on behalf of another team and charged and remanded for 6 x shoplifting offences 

Large number of local investigations finalised with a positive outcomes inline with victim's wishes
