Police: PC Spruce's Weekly Roundup

Good Evening Rutland,

๐Ÿš” Itโ€™s been an extremely busy six shifts for me across the entire Neighbourhood Policing Area (NPA) with a wide range of incidents, Policing Operations and events to keep me occupied. A quick roundup of some of the things I have been up to below: ๐Ÿš”

The Rutland Dedicated Neighbourhood Team attended The Rutland County Show on Sunday, it was a fantastic opportunity to engage with the local, wider and rural communities. Rural Crime is a Neighbourhood Priority on my Rutland Rural North beat area โ€“ so our presence at this event was really worthwhile and important. If you attended, we hope you had a good day and thank you to everyone who came over and spoke with the team ๐Ÿšœ ๐ŸŒพ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ– ๐Ÿด ๐ŸฆŒ ๐Ÿ„ ๐ŸŒพ ๐Ÿšœ

๐ŸŽต ๐ŸŽ™๏ธ I was also involved elsewhere on the NPA for a few shifts to support the Policing Operation at The Forbidden Forest Music Festival, at Belvoir Castle. This was a large joint effort working with officers from all over the force area from multiple departments. Although I am a Dedicated Rutland Beat Officer, we do occasionally need to support other areas when there is a special event taking place. I was primarily involved in the community reassurance patrols around the villages in The Vale of Belvoir, it was good to engage with the rural communities there, but I was also used and on hand for incidents on site. If you attended the event we hope you had a safe and enjoyable time ๐Ÿ’ƒ ๐Ÿ•บ

๐Ÿšจ Other incidents I have been involved in that I can mention include, (but are not limited to!): ๐Ÿšจ

๐Ÿš” Assisting response officer colleagues with the search of a vulnerable person who required safeguarding intervention, found safe and well, relevant referrals completed โœ๏ธ

๐Ÿ”’ Arresting a person on suspicion of Possession with Intent to Supply Class A Controlled Drugs โ€ผ๏ธ

๐Ÿš‘ Assisting colleagues in the ambulance service by responding to a person in mental health crisis in a public place, relevant support and care provided by medical professionals ๐Ÿค

๐Ÿšจ Responding to a report of an intruder at a property, thankfully everything was in order and it was a call of good intent ๐Ÿ‘

๐Ÿš” Responding to a report of arson in a rural location elsewhere on the NPA outside of Rutland and assisting response colleagues in the arrest of 3 persons located near to the scene. Thankfully no one was hurt, injured or endangered ๐Ÿš’  ๐Ÿš“

๐Ÿ” Then in-between all of this, I have been visiting victims of crime, providing support, reassurance and advice, as well as progressing enquiries and my ongoing case load of investigations ๐Ÿ‘ฎ๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ

As always, thank you for your continued support. Itโ€™s my last shift tonight before a few much needed R&R days โ€“ but donโ€™t worry, youโ€™ve got the rest of the Rutland team and our 24/7 response teams keeping you safe! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

PC 1049 Jake Spruce  ๐Ÿ‘ฎ๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ
