#CHARGED | Kody Bates (11/07/1997) of Vermont Street, Bolton, has been charged with grievous bodily harm after an incident in McDonalds, Knowsley Street in October 2023. The female victim reported suffering serious injuries including a broken eye socket.

Previously closed as the suspect was unable to be identified, officers from the Bolton Town Centre Neighbourhood Team have identified Bates and reopened the case, following a number of interactions with him in recent weeks. 

Bates has been remanded in custody to appear at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates Court on Monday 2 June.
