Good evening,

We would like to provide you with a further update regarding the building fire on Holmes Street, Burnley.

As of 18:00 today, the incident has been scaled down to three fire engines and one aerial ladder platform. Holmes Street remains closed to vehicle access.

Our crews, along with partner agencies, will remain on scene throughout the night and into tomorrow to fully extinguish the fire and ensure no hot spots remain.
