Please be aware, there has been a rural burglary from a farm’s outbuildings off Coldhill Lane, Saxton. A tractor, ride-on lawn mower and other equipment and machinery was taken from the building. 

This occurred overnight on 30/05/25 and 31/5/25 between the hours of 22:00hrs and 08:00hrs. Offenders have entered the field through a gate at the back of the property and left with the stolen vehicle and equipment through the same gate and away from the village avoiding any CCTV or Ring Doorbell. 

A search for CCTV has been conducted however if anyone that has not been spoken to has any relating CCTV contact the police via 101 and quote: 12250097620.  

Please ensure any outbuildings, barns, garages or sheds are secured with good locks and security measures are in place. We strongly advise fitting these buildings with an alarm which can be purchased for as little as £10 from DIY stores or online, they are battery operated and are very easy to fit. It's also a good idea to lock items together or to a secure fitting inside your building using a cable lock or chain. 

Your local police team are aware and have the area on their patrol plan.
