Eccleshall - News Appeal after serious collision


We are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a serious collision in Eccleshall.

We were called at 2pm on Tuesday 27 May to Swynnerton Road. Officers attended along with colleagues from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service, West Midlands Ambulance Service and the air ambulance. 

 

Two vehicles were involved in the collision at the junction of Swynnerton Road with High Lanes in Sturbridge, whereby a woman, who was a passenger in one of the cars, was airlifted to hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries. 

A man, the driver of the same car, was taken to hospital by land ambulance with serious injuries.

 

Another man, the driver of the second vehicle, sustained minor injuries and remained at the scene.
