We are urging local residents to remain vigilant following a report of suspicious activity involving bogus tradespersons in the Badgers Croft area of Eccleshall. The incident occurred at around 12:30pm on Saturday 31st May

Three males—described as white, with dark hair, and wearing black T-shirts and knee-length shorts—visited the home of an elderly resident. They claimed that roof repairs were needed and entered the property, including the loft area. During the visit, they attempted to obtain payment using the resident’s bank card.

They then left the address when challenged by a neighbour and were seen driving away in a white Ford Transit van towards Stone Road, Eccleshall.
