UPDATE – Trefonen Playing Fields

Following the recent incidents of individuals who have been choosing to drive vehicles on the football pitch and the antisocial behaviour and criminal damage at Trefonen playing fields, we can now confirm that Shropshire Council has installed fencing around the car park to prevent vehicles from accessing the pitch.

This measure has been taken in direct response to the ongoing damage and is aimed at protecting the playing surface from further harm.

We want to remind everyone that this type of behaviour will not be tolerated. Those responsible—once identified—will be dealt with accordingly. This includes the issuing of Section 59 notices, the potential seizure of vehicles, and being reported for such offences, which may also result in court proceedings.

Thank you to everyone in the community who has supported our efforts so far. We will continue working with local partners to safeguard this valued community space.
