Residents Voice Results May 2025

This month A Resident Voice Survey was conducted at the shops on Fearnhead Cross with a view of understanding what issues retail workers are currently facing. 

The results showed a concern for shoplifting and unfortunately there was also concerns raised about the worry of being sexually assaulted. I wish to stress that there have been no reports regarding this matter and it is as written, a concern.

This has resulted in a request that response officers when passing pay extra attention to the shops, looping the carpark when passing and dealing with any issues that may arise. I as your local PCSO will also make sure that I am paying extra attention to the shops, in particular at night time.

I will also be writing to the shops to explain our response. 

These surveys are taken very seriously by Beat Officers and are a great help in understanding local concerns about the area you live in. They are anonymous and can be filled out as many times as you feel you need to. If you wish to take part, the link is…
