Rural NPT received information that the gates of Wakefield Cemetery, Sugar Lane are a common place for drug dealing and there was some suggestion that dealers are using hiding places within the wall of the cemetery to store drugs and weapons such as knifes or batons.

On Sunday 25th May, PCSOs carried out a drugs and weapon sweep of the area shown in the picture below and are happy to report that nothing was found, the team will be keeping an eye on this area in future.
