Whilst on patrol near to the Priory Church this afternoon, officers 6440 and 40614 spotted a pit bike being ridden down through Priory Walk and down the alleyway. 

Officers were able to catch up with the rider and have served a section 59 notice to them, which prohibits the rider from using that pit bike in a manner that is going to cause alarm distress or annoyance for the next year (on or off road) If the rider or the pit bike are stopped by officers within that period, we will seize the vehicle. 

We were patrolling the area after reports of young males playing on top of the old priory building. This building is under renovation and is in a state of disrepair from works being carried out. If your teenage sons are allowed out and about by themselves in Leominster town, please speak to them about the dangers of climbing old buildings and the consequences.
