PCSO Michelle visited WEAVERHAM PRIMARY ACADEMY to lead discussions with Year 5 and Year 6 pupils on a range of vital safety topics. These sessions aimed to educate pupils on the real-life consequences of their actions, both online and in person, to help them to make safer, more responsible choices. Topics covered included: The sessions also covered the emotional and legal consequences for everyone involved — the victim, the perpetrator, and their families.
Concerns have been raised about young people accessing private land and entering a severely dangerous derelict building on WALLERSCOTE ROAD, WEAVERHAM. Patrols have been carried out at this location to help ensure the safety of our community. We urge parents and guardians to speak with their children about the serious risks involved. This building is extremely unsafe and has been fenced off for a reason — to prevent accidents and injury. Please ensure your children understand the dangers and avoid this site at all times. Their safety is our top priority. Further patrols will continue.
Thank you to Weaverham Parish Council Clerk for their kind invitation to the celebration of The Honorary Freedom of the Parish, awarded to Councillor Mr. John FREEMAN in recognition of his outstanding service to both the council and the community. A well-deserved honour — congratulations, Mr. FREEMAN!
A patrol was carried out around Greenpark this evening following reports of motorbikes being used on farmers’ land without permission. Further patrols will be conducted to monitor the situation and help prevent unauthorised access.
Speed enforcement has been conducted this evening on CHESTER ROAD, SANDIWAY/CUDDINGTON. No offences were captured on this occasion, the highest recorded speed being 40 mph.
The final parking patrol before the half-term break was conducted this afternoon. It appears that schools finished at varying times today, and I’m pleased to report no parking issues were observed. It was a lovely moment seeing the Year 11 students leaving Weaverham High School, proudly wearing their signed shirts—a milestone to remember! Wishing the very best of luck to all students beginning their GCSEs and A-Levels. Stay safe and enjoy the break,
Great engagement at Cuddington Youth Club this week! So many young people connecting with friends, and making the most of the outdoors while the weather holds.
Northwich North Beat Officers took part in a knife sweep across Northwich, Barnton, and Weaverham this afternoon. We are pleased to report that no knives were found during the sweep. However, thanks to the community’s support, a total of 34 bladed items were voluntarily surrendered:
26 items handed to PCSO Nichola at her surgery at Northwich Police Station 8 items handed to PCSO Diana at her surgery in Barnton A big thank you to the members of the public who took part, as well as to our partners: Weaverham Trust, CWAC Councillor Gillian Edwards, CWAC Councillor Phil Rimmer, and Councillor John Freeman. Together, we’re making a difference.
Happy BH weekend to you ALL! PCSO Michelle #wecare | ||||
