Myself and PCSO Sammy from Abbots Langley NPT and Cadets from Three Rivers Police Cadets, completed week 2 of our Mini Police Scheme with year 5s from Divine Saviour School.

🏎️The pupils raised concerns around speeding after schools.

So later that day, Myself and PCSO Sammy conducted speed checks on Gallows Hill Lane, all drivers where driving within the speed limit.

The initiative is primarily aimed at children in year five and sees officers visit schools over several weeks, to talk about topics such as road safety, personal safety, staying safe online and anti-social behaviour.

It aims to promote responsible citizenship and help young people build positive relationships with the police.

We will continue to conduct these speed checks in and around Abbots Langley.
