The event is taking place at Staffordshire County Showground on Weston Road, Stafford, ST18 0BD from 11am until 4pm on Saturday 14 June, and entry is free for everyone.

We’ve got lots in store for everyone in the family to enjoy, including the chance to meet some of our brave police dogs and handlers keeping people safe every day.

For people who want to get an idea of what it’s like to be at the front of the wheel of a police carrier, there’s an opportunity to sit in a police car and on a police motorbike, along with a number of demonstrations on the type of things our officers tackle on a daily basis, including working at heights and policing public order.

Parking

Parking is free and will be available in the field opposite the showground.

Safety and security

Please do not bring large bags. We recommend small bags or rucksacks and these will be subject to a bag search.

Any item or part of an item that could be considered potentially harmful to public safety is prohibited.

Under 16s

Parents/carers are responsible for their children at all times when they attend the open day.

Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Food and drink

You are welcome to bring your own food and drink on site. However, there is a strict NO alcohol policy. There will be a range of food and drink outlets available on the day catering for diverse tastes and dietary needs.

Useful information

Sorry, no dogs allowed apart from assistance or guide dogs. There will be working police dogs on site, so please leave your four-legged friends at home to avoid disappointment.

This is a strictly no smoking or vaping event. Anyone found smoking or vaping will be asked to extinguish their cigarette or asked to stop vaping.

Toilets, baby change and breastfeeding facilities, first aid and the lost/found point are all located in Bingley Hall, the building to the right of the grandstand.
