For awareness Dukinfield Golf Course is private land I've recently had questions asked about access and usage of the area. 

The golf course is privately owned with a public footpath going through from Bradley Green towards Dukinfield but this is strictly the footpath only, either side of this is private.  Historically there has been reports of ASB/children causing fires & criminal damage to which have been investigated. We fully support the golf course and patrol the area when we can. Can I just reiterate that there is pathway for the public to use as a right of way but as soon as you leave the path it is trespassing onto the golf course land. There is an obvious risk with golf balls to as it is an active course with members using the facilities. Thank you for your understanding.
