Resident's voice

Firstly, thank you to all residents who completed a survey last month.

I can reveal that parking was raised as the biggest concern to residents last month. We will again dedicate patrols to areas mentioned to help tackle obstructive parling.

For example, we attended Oldfield Primary to assist with their parking issues during morning drop off and evening pick up times. We issued advisories to vehicles parking on junctions. We also advised parents of the dangers and risks that can be caused by parking opposite the school during drop off times, while not an offence it does greatly increase the risk to children crossing a busy road at peak times.

If you have taken the time to read this or have previously taken the Resident's Voice survey, please can you take the survey again this month and please share to any residents who may also be interested. As you already know we use this information to best prioritise our resources and address the issues that are of particular concern to you and your area. It takes less than 5 minutes to complete and contains no personal data. – www.cheshire.police.uk/residentsvoicechester
